Never broken.

Confidence is not something that she was born with.

It is something that she must build.

The process is not always easy

And it definitely isn’t always pretty. 

She will strike out,

She will fumble,

She will overthrow

And she will make errors,

She will struggle and she will continue find ways to get back up

Celebrate this resilience.

Celebrate her ability to be strong

Celebrate her decision to keep going with a smile on her face

I promise you she will beat herself up enough

She doesn’t need you to do it too. 

Confidence isn’t built on the days when everything goes perfectly. Confidence is built on the days when she falls and learns that she can still stand tall. Confidence is built when we teach our daughters they are capable of their wildest dreams even on their hardest days.
