Bio

Hi, I’m Ellie — founder of Mindfuel Therapy, a Clinical Social Work Associate and a Certified Sport Social Worker in Oregon.

​

I grew up playing sports and know firsthand the unique mental and emotional challenges that come with high-pressure environments. The drive to succeed, the fear of failure, the unrelenting standards — they can take a toll on even the strongest performers. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to support individuals navigating those exact pressures.

​

Whether you’re an athlete, a high achiever, or simply someone trying to stay afloat in a fast-paced world, I offer a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. I use a blend of evidence-based practices — including CBT, DBT, ACT, and strengths-based, holistic approaches — to help you not just manage, but grow through what you’re facing.

Above all, I believe that therapy should feel like a partnership — one rooted in trust, authenticity, and hope. I’m passionate about creating a supportive, empowering space for clients of all identities and backgrounds.

At Mindfuel Therapy, I work with individuals age 12-65 years old who are ready to strengthen their mental and emotional well-being — whether they’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for growth.

Anxiety & Depression

It’s exhausting trying to “keep it together” when your mind is constantly racing or your energy is at an all-time low. If you're living with anxiety, depression, or both, therapy can help you better understand your thoughts, manage your emotions, and feel more like yourself again.
Using a combination of CBT, DBT, and holistic approaches, we’ll work together to build healthy coping tools, improve self-awareness, and reconnect you to the parts of life that feel meaningful.

Athlete Mental Health & Performance Anxiety

Whether you're a student-athlete, weekend warrior, or elite performer, the mental game can make or break how you show up. I specialize in working with athletes who are navigating the pressure, identity challenges, injuries, burnout, or anxiety tied to performance.
As a Certified Sport Social Worker, I bring both lived experience and clinical insight to help you build resilience, regulate under pressure, and stay grounded in your values — both in sport and beyond.

 Disordered Eating & Body Image

​

Struggling with food, control, or body image can feel isolating — but you don’t have to face it alone. Whether you're living with an eating disorder, chronic dieting, or body dissatisfaction, we’ll work together to untangle unhelpful patterns, challenge shame, and foster a more compassionate relationship with your body.
My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and nonjudgmental — grounded in your strengths and paced by your readiness.

 Stress, Burnout & Life Transitions

​

High achievers often carry the weight of “doing it all.”  Whether you're facing burnout, navigating a career shift, or moving through a major life transition, therapy can help you slow down and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface.
Together, we’ll uncover what’s fueling the overwhelm — and help you move forward with clarity, purpose, and self-trust.

 Young Adult & Adolescent Support

This stage of life is full of change — new responsibilities, evolving identity, relationships, school, and future goals. For teens and young adults, therapy offers a judgment-free space to explore emotions, build confidence, and develop lifelong coping skills.
I work collaboratively to help young people feel heard, supported, and empowered in their growth.

Telehealth Sessions Available

Mindfuel Therapy is currently offering virtual therapy for clients across the state of Oregon, making it easy to access support from wherever you are.  If you are interested in in-person sessions we can be available in our Portland office upon request!

Insurance

I am a master's-level candidate holding a certificate to practice in Oregon as a social work associate. I practice under a board-approved clinical supervisor, pursuant to OAR 877-020-0012, at Mindful Therapy Group, P.C.
